Farm Ratting with NiteSite
Farm Ratting with NiteSite

Out again on the pest control. Many rats to deal with at the moment. Zeroed up our air rifles at the shooting range and then out for the evening. Highlights of our shoot on the video below. We got 35 between us tonight!
I have been using a first focal plane scope recently. Notice how the reticle changes size as the zoom increases. Takes a bit of getting used to, but theres no need for aim offs when zooming in as the relationship between picture and reticle remains the same.
The NiteSite mounts easily on any air rifle scope and there's no adjustment needed.
You can come and have a go with one over the Halloween weekend Friday-Monday, they will be mounted on some of our hire guns.(not mine, no.... you can't have it!)

Halloween
For Halloween this year we at A Different Calibre have
decided to hold a gruesome 4 day event over the Halloween weekend that will
consist of hair rising horror and spooky targets for you all to shoot at. Our range will have an eerie feeling to it
with carved pumpkins, sewer rats, Halloween inspired targets and other
surprises! From the decorated shop to the candle lit freaky apocalypse vibe of
a range we all will be in the best Halloween spirit for this blood curdling
time of year!
The horror will start from Friday the 28th and will end on Halloween it’s self. With the staff dressed to scare this will be a weekend you wouldn’t want to miss out on. There are no extra fees and everyone is welcome to come and join in! Costumes are optional

Mountain ratter
So we've not been put shooting for a week as been on out in the mountains.
Even out of 'work' mode the terrier still was searching for the next kill! On a lead as sheep may well be seen as a pest to him....
