If you are looking for an airgun for a younger shooter we have a really good range and plenty in stock.
The Crosman Pumpmaster is ideal for the under 10s being lightweight and cheap at £69.99. It fires both BBs and .177 pellets.
It also comes in pink!
If you are after a more traditional looking air rifle, we have plenty of the Gamo Junior Hunters in stock.
These are £89.99 and fire .177 pellets. They are ideal for target shooting and are small and light enough for 8-10 year olds to use. They have decent open sights on them, however there is a rail that will take a scope if required.
Bear Grylls has also produced his own version of this gun with Gamo. This comes as a nice boxed kit and is priced at £114.99 with scope, pellets and targets. The Young Explorer set
For teenagers, we recommend a number of different budget air rifles.
The first is a traditional wooden stocked break barrel from Hatsan. The Breaker 900x. This has been one our best selling guns at only £99 and the reviews from customers have been excellent.
Again this gun has good open sights using the 'tru-glo' system, but will also take a scope. The front silencer does a reasonable job at keeping the noise down. See a complete review here.
For those preferring a more tactical look, Hatsan also do this gun in black synthetic at the same price of £99 or there is the BSA Hornet
Going up to around £130 there is the Gamo range. These guns are much quieter than a traditional break barrel and are exceptionally well made. There are a variety of options to choose from starting with the Whisper X.
All of the Gamo range will take a telescopic sight.
Bear Grylls also has a full size rifle available in .177 for £149.99. This set comes with pellets and targets.
