Airgun tuning and customising

We've teamed up with air-fective tuning to produce a line of custom work that can be carried out on your air rifle.

To show just how good their products are we had a number of our hire guns tuned and adapted.

Our R10-SE has now got a custom shroud and silencer fitted. This is even quieter than the one provided by BSA.

Our FX Wildcat has had a similar shroud made from carbon fibre with a matching silencer. The silencer has a standard 1/2" UNF thread and so can be easily removed if needed. The silencers are also available without the shroud and will screw onto any air rifle with the correct thread. These are in 3 sizes and we are keeping these in stock.

 

Work can also be carried out on stocks. Here an air arms S200 has had an adjustable cheek piece and rear butt plate added. At the same time, the team tuned the regulator and added a carbon fibre silencer to the end. 

There's so much that can be done to an air rifle to improve it. Come in and have a chat with the team on a Friday afternoon. 

New Air Rifles

As airgun companies release their new rifles onto the market for 2017 we are increasing the number of guns available to hire to use on our shooting range. (see website for pricing).

This month we have started stocking some of the popular Weihrauch rifles with the HW100 and HW110 being available to try out in pre-charge and the HW97 being a great underlever spring gun.

All of our guns have a variety of different scopes on them which means you really can try before you buy.

We continue to forge links with the airgun companies and can now get in stock almost anything that you want. (maybe to order but we do hold a lot in the shop).

Bruce Potts Visits

It was a pleasure as always to have with us today the renowned shooting author Bruce Potts to review the new Diana R38 Blazer for a future article.

Whilst here at the range Bruce was introduced to our new 25m bench rest competition, like any good sportsman he created an air of friendly competition between himself and our own Georgie Norton. After he scored 224 and gaining first place on our leader board knocking Georgie off her first place position.

Bruce was using the Daystate Tsar in .177, whilst Georgie used the Feinwekbau 800, both of which can be hired on our shooting range

Worried about the competition!

All benches on the range have gun rests for customers to use, doubling up on them seems to be the norm.

The benchrest competition is open to all, no matter ability, it is just for fun (although some are taking it rather seriously!)

We look forward to seeing Bruce in the future ready for a rematch.... maybe some of our other staff would like to take him on.

Our new leaderboard is now up and running (although I haven't had a chance to have a go myself yet!) This is open to all regardless of what airgun you have or want to use.
You get 20 minutes to shoot at 25 very small targets.
