The new area we have been working on (for ages now) is almost ready.

This is the backdrop that has been done for it... hopefully we will be able to use it all this weekend, just got to get the electrics in place (Saying no more just yet but keep an eye on our facebook page!)

A delivery of lock knives has arrived ready for the warmer weather... I seem to lose mine constantly, so I just stick to the cheaper ones!

This week's leaderboard is below. It gets wiped today ready for the 1st April on Saturday. Top 5 will remain though.

 Someone has to come in and knock Rev off the top spot!

NiteSite have reduced the prices of their kit. We have been using these for ages now and hopefully with the new prices more will be able to afford them. Will be getting some new videos of our rat hunts on our youtube page soon.

 Our team have been working hard on our new pistol area (its going to be a surprise!) Something completely different to shoot at......

Missy does enjoy painting.... the resemblence is astounding! (Will have to avoid her for the rest of the week!)

No... This isn't for a wedding... all will be revealed soon. All we will say for now is that you will need a pistol to play on this area.

Our Coffee and Shoot mornings will be starting up next week. Come and be sociable and if you are over 55/retired we are discounting the range fee to £8.

A Different Calibre Airgun range; 17th March 2017

It's been another busy week at the range.

The Hitchin Cub Scouts visited us for an airgun shoot and a look at various other goodies we have (they like the WW1 Lee Enfield rifles!)

We have got a good selection of reproduction airguns in stock now as well. Mostly from the German side.

We have finally had some deliverys! The new gun bags are already popular.

Our newest member of staff is getting to know all of the different airguns. The new BSA JSR junior air rifle is now ready to be used on the range.

Also, due to being asked..... This Easter holidays we will be running our first kids competition. Details below.

The weather finally seems to be getting warmer. This means that the local pest population is going to increase soon! 

We are planning to get our pest control courses up and running soon. If you would be interested, please let us know so we can gauge what level to run them at.

Meanwhile we are stocking up on break barrel air rifles as these are always popular with beginners (although I keep one handy for squirrels!)

The Hatsan Striker Edge is a well built inexpensive air rifle. 

Gamo have now started to bring in their new multishot break barrel rifle. Known as the Swarm abroad it is called the Maxxim in the UK.

 It has a 10 shot magazine housed on the top of the barrel. Whilst you still have to cock the gun each time, theres no more messing about loading a pellet one at a time. Its also not a 'springer' but uses the IGT gas ram system.

An interesting hybrid to say the least. Available only in wood for now in the UK.

Been busy this week doing lots of things!

First of all though, heres this months special offer. It's just one of these we have at this price so be quick!

 

Our custom airgun work continues with Stuart's Stalker Ten having a new oversized cocking bolt added to it. He's already had a Gary Cane stock and Air-fective carbon fibre silencer added to what already was a very unique airgun.

Our team have been out ratting this week at the chicken coops. Missy has a new Kraal Puncher Bullpup of her own now in .177 and has been using the predator polymags for pest control.

 

 We are still very pleased with the Nitesite systems we have been using as well. (No more lamps for us!)

Sniper Gnome has been out on the farm in the 4x4 mule, think he prefers driving it rather than shooting!

Theres also 'something' being built for our pistol range! But this is going to be a surprise.

Finally, our leaderboard is now fully up and running. Well done to one of our Duke of Edinburgh's Award candidates (Lauren) for getting in 5th place after only shooting for a few weeks.
