A Busy weekend

Pigeons and rats in gardens seem to be what everyone wants to get rid of at the moment. We can't get our break barrel airguns in quick enough.

The Gamo range seems especially popular, starting at only £129 for the basic Whisper X. Remember that if you are going for pigeons you will need pellets with a slight point on them and even then if you hit them square on in the chest you'll probably just end up with a load of feathers. The front crop acts like armour! For rats we find the best bait is actually peanut butter. They can't run away with it and stay still allowing for more clean and humane head shots.

Our air pistols have sold well this weekend, again the cheaper options being the most popular. The Crosman Vigilante is now our best seller. Get out while it's not raining and plink away at some cans and targets.  Hopefully the weather is going to improve for next weekend and I'll finally be able to get some video shots of the Evanix GTL480 in action.
